
PHILIPPE VOLKOV
Who is Philippe?
Phil focuses his practice of law on civil litigation, including negligence and worker’s compensation. His specialty is in personal injury matters such as premises liability and motor vehicle accidents. Passionate about safety culture and accountability, these are core values that have driven him throughout his career. Prior to joining Kostin Law LLC, Phil worked for many years as a federal contractor in the U.S. Department of Transportation in pipeline safety law and compliance, helping to hold big energy companies accountable for worker injuries, property damage, and environmental pollution.
Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Temple University which he achieved in only three years of study. He is a graduate of the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. In law school Phil received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Best Student Performance in Securities Regulation for being the top of his class in that subject. He served as a PA Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern at the Bucks Co. Public Defender’s Office where he represented indigent defendants for no compensation in criminal matters before the Bucks Co. Court of Common Pleas and the magisterial district courts in over one hundred cases. Before being admitted to the bar, Phil had over a decade of experience as paralegal working in various law firms in the Philadelphia area. He currently lives with his wife and daughter in Philadelphia.
